About Bloom Psychology Group
Achieve the calm you deserve
Bloom was created for the stressed-out, high achievers. The athletes, the perfectionists, the executives. The people who are always taking care of business and taking care of others.
But who is taking care of you?
Don't let stress and the fear of failure get in the way of your potential.
At Bloom, we help you identify existing strengths and learn new skills to live your best life.
Meet Dr. Marina
I'm Dr. Marina Harris, licensed psychologist and CEO of Bloom Psychology Group, PLLC.
As a former Division I gymnast, I understand the pressure felt by high-achievers and perfectionists. I'm an expert in anxiety, eating disorders, sport psychology, and trauma. I help strivers worry less so they have more space to achieve their dreams.
My clients describe me as warm, well-attuned, and skilled. I love to connect with people in a meaningful way, and empower others to live their best life.
It's important to me that you feel heard and understood in therapy. I also aim to give you skills and tools that help you in life. I use cognitive-behavioral therapies, which are the therapies of choice for anxiety, depression, eating disorders, trauma, and many more. I also practice Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. These therapies allow me to be radically genuine and work alongside you to address what is most important to you. If you want to learn more about how I work in therapy, check out an open letter I wrote to my clients.
I've worked at several premiere clinics of the Triangle, including Duke Psychiatry, University of Chapel Hill Center of Excellence for Eating Disorders, and North Carolina State University Athletics. When it comes to knowledge, skill, and experience, you're in good hands.
